It is highly visible from the freeway and is the major way Oakland Citizens access the 880 freeway. This makes the entire city look bad.

Illegal Dumping Acknowledged267 5th Street Oakland, CA 94607, USA - Old City-Produce And WaterfrontThis trash is from the JLD Trash Bash pickup on June 9th. The JLD called into Oakland Public Works and Keep Oakland Beautiful on Tuesday June 11th am, the order number given by O PW was 464901. One week layer and the trash is still there. The bags are broken and rotting garbage and debris is spreading everywhere,any neighbor complaints. OPE and KOB, would you please follow through?!!! Our constant at OPE was Sarah Corso.

5th Street & Interstate 880 Oakland, CA 94607, USA - Old City-Produce And WaterfrontHomeless encampment above the entrance to the Webster Tube is very dangerous. Trash is falling down into the path of traffic and pedestrians are crossing in front of cars. Some is going to get hurt or killed if this is allowed to go on. CalTrans needs to do something about it!

Illegal Dumping Archived5th Street & Interstate 880 Oakland, CA 94607, USA - Old City-Produce And WaterfrontThe owners of the parking lots under the 880 in either side of Webster between 5th and 6th have gathered up all of the garbage that covered their lots and dumped it on the sidewalks along Webster between 5th and 6th so as to block the sidewalks and cause pedestrians to have to walk in the street. They have also dumped their garbage along the west fence of these two lots.
