216-296 South Person Street Raleigh, North Carolina - Blount CorridorThank you CoR. Get a dialogue started with these people who cause Moore Square to be a blight on Raleigh. I suggest let them pass out their food in front of the Wilmington Street Shelter, their Church, or their homes. Moore Square should be able to be enjoyed by all the citizens.

Sidewalks Archived12 East Hargett Street Raleigh, NC 27601, USA - CentralAs always I was trying to maneuver through the mess at Raleigh Times. Seeing people on crutches and with strollers being pushed to the curb and walking on unstable grates and rusted covers to get by these tables that are taking up well over half of the sidewalk. Why are other establishments held to a different standard. Before the ordinance took place this establishment was and still is the main issue. Obnoxious and unsafe. I still don't quite understand how prior to this ordnance other places maintained their crowds better than Raleigh Times. Anyhow, this is constant at this place. Why doesn't Raleigh Times have to abide?

Other Issues not noted above Archived310 South West Street Raleigh, NC 27603, USA - Central
The city council has told the Raleigh Police Department to not enforce the noise ordinances. There is a thumping bass coming from the Bodi nightclub at 310 S West Street. After speaking with two officers on site at Bodi at 3am (they said they had to report it to their sergeant who handled noise complaints), then calling in another complaint at 3:30am, and calling again at 5:15am. I spoke with the sergeant at 5:20am and found out why it was still going on. According to him, he was instructed by the Raleigh city council not to enforce the noise ordinances while they are being reviewed.
I wouldn't care how late they play if they would just turn the base down.

Sidewalks Archived12 E Hargett St Raleigh, North Carolina - CentralBusinesses on Fayetteville St must clear their patio seating from path of traffic, yet Raleigh Times can rope off seating through the entire pedestrian walkway. Why is this permitted?? I saw a lady in a wheelchair unable to pass the restaurant because the sidewalk is occupied & she couldn't get her wheelchaur over the metal tree groundcovers. This is unsafe.... please fix ASAP.

210 Wilmington St Raleigh, NC - CentralThe Raleigh Times is leaving their garbage cans outside 24/7. It is making pedestrian traffic difficult/unpleasant and is limiting already terrible parking. There are at least 15 cans of garbage/food waste blocking the sidewalk at all hours of the day or night! GROSS! Not to mention it draws attention to their filthy kitchen just inches away from all that trash. Aren't there rules for this?
