Notified About

  • Intersection Of Walker Rd And Lee Hwy Chattanooga, TN - Chattanooga

This is a 4 point intersection and also includes 2 west bound lanes on Lee Hwy merging into one lane. There is a large amount of traffic in this area during AM due to Silverdale School traffic and NACS traffic. Could we please have a study done on this intersection for a traffic light or roundabout?

People sitting in turning lane, turning left onto Walker Rd are subject to head on collisions from west bound Lee Hwy traffic veering into turning lane to go around people turning right onto Walker Rd.

Traffic backs up on both sides of Walker Road while waiting to cut across Lee Hwy.

  • Walnut Street Brg Chattanooga, TN - Chattanooga
I think people should be allowed to walk/run with their dogs across the Walnut Street Bridge. When people living on the North shore of the river want to enjoy the River Walk, they either have to choose from Veterans and Market Street Bridges instead of opting to use our wonderful pedestrian bridge. Doggy Pick-up Stations might be a good investment prior to making this change.
  • 1769 E Main St Chattanooga, TN 37404 - Highland Park Neighborhood
The section of Main Street,- between Holtzclaw and probably all the way to Dodds Avenue, could really use some more lighting.
  • Walnut St Chattanooga, TN - Chattanooga
The intersection of Walnut and E 2nd street is ONE block away from Chattanooga's most heralded pedestrian right of way, and yet this intersection is an pedestrian unfriendly 2 way stop rather than a 4 way stop. The City is currently renovating the intersection, and they could easily remove the 2nd street right of way, and make this a 4 way stop. Come on Chattanooga, do the right thing!

  • Burned House Archived
1617 East 14th Street Chattanooga, TN - Highland Park Neighborhood
This house burned several months ago and the owners stripped it of everything of value shortly afterward and have done nothing since. It is an eyesore and a danger. I have caught kids around it on several occassions and "scavengers" have tried getting in. I thought the owners only have 90 days to tear it down or start work on it but nothing has been done.
  • 1700 E 13th St Chattanooga, TN - Highland Park Neighborhood

There are main sidewalks in Renaissance Park which need improved lighting-- primarily those connecting the riverwalk with the inland park. Despite official operating hours, people walk in Renaissance Park at night. Without improved lighting, these areas are dangerous and prone to mischief. Please improve the lighting along those main paths.
