Bar Harbor Batman unable to play boombox and dance in public during day when there should be no noise ordinance issues if bands can play in Village Green, etc.
  • 36-42 Acadia All-American Road Bar Harbor, Maine - Bar Harbor
There is a series of stone stairs with a hand railing descending from the pathway in this area for pedestrians to cross Eden going east, before the Y intersection to the south. However, overgrown bushes on the left side of the bottom of the stairs obscure traffic and hide pedestrians. There appears to be what either used to be a crosswalk or a faded mark for one at the spot - this should be marked as a crosswalk and the bushes should be trimmed back. It's incredibly unsafe, as this is clearly intended to be a pedestrian crossing.

  • 136 Eagle Lake Road Bar Harbor, Maine - Bar Harbor
Most vehicles ignore the posted speed limit around this dangerous corner. People walking, bikers, and autos trying pull in or out of nearby driveways are all at risk, especially from large trucks and buses that speed down this corner. In the past, there has been accidents and deaths on this road. There should be yellow lights at the Cromwell Harbor intersection to assist in slowing traffic down before rounding this corner, before another accident/injury to another innocent person.
