Notified About

  • 121 Linden Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA - Downtown
Sidewalk on north side of Linden Ave. between Courtland and Willow is crumbled. Dangerous to walk in this area due to this condition. Personal injury easily sustained.
  • 102-130 Pine Street Northeast Atlanta, GA - Downtown
Sidewalk is busted and is a hazard for pedestrians to trip and fall.
  • 1530 Atlanta Georgia - Atlanta

Neighbor hoards 6 non-working vehicles (3 in front of home, 3 in driveway) and another in front of next door neighbor's home. All vehicles are stuffed to the ceiling with junk. In addition to a junkyard's worth of goods (upholstered furniture, bikes, tools, coolers, car parts and anything else you can think of) that they hawk to salvage buyers on a daily basis. There is a daily flow of pickup trucks dropping off items in front of this house, which sometimes impedes the flow of traffic. From the street, as well as from Google satellite imaging, one can see that the entire backyard is filled with similar junk. The attached images from Google maps are several years old and do not reflect the current amount of trash and debris in the yard, which currently covers 100% of the backyard and 50% of the front yard. Sadly, the neighboring home was renovated and wasted away on the market for 9 months and had to reduce the price nearly $100,000 before it sold. This is not only a health hazard on multiple levels (fire, vermin, etc), but is clearly negatively impacting the value of any neighboring homes (side and back), as well as those across the street whose front windows look onto the home. Besides the fact that he is clearly trying to run a business out of a residential neighborhood.

I have been a resident on this street for 2 years and have only seen the problem grow significantly worse and more dangerous over time. Your support of neighborhood health, safety and home values is appreciated.

  • Spring St Nw Atlanta, GA - Downtown
You have the option to be in one of 3 lanes - a turn right only, turn left only (both onto West Peachtree St) or straight onto Pine Street. There are no signs above the lanes or arrows painted on the street to identify which lanes are turn only or straight. On several occasions I have almost had my front-end taken off due to someone going straight from the right turn only lane. It would be helpful if there were signs hanging over the intersection AND arrows painted on the street.
  • 143-169 11th St Ne Atlanta, GA - Atlanta
The sidewalk on the north side of 11th street between Piedmont Avenue and Juniper is in shambles as it approaches Juniper. Not only is it absolutely handicap unfriendly because no chair or walker could traverse it, the sidewalk is the only option on a narrow street with 2-way traffic as well as often occupied street parking that makes it more of a 1 lane street. So, people have to get off the sidewalk into the narrow and dangerous street. Plus it is not lit.
  • 8th Street Ne And Monroe Dr Ne Atlanta, GA - Atlanta
When approaching Monroe on 8th, there is a sign that allows parking in the right lane of traffic very close to the intersection. As the other lane is a left turn only lane, cars parked in the right lane block the intersection. In addition, drivers are forced to break two traffic laws: crossing a solid white line to change lanes, and changing lanes within 50 feet of and intersection. There is plenty of parking behind the business that this parking serves, and it creates a hazardous situation. If it caused and accident, the city could be sued.
I have reported this to the city in the past but have never received a response.
  • 36 13th St Ne Atlanta, GA - Atlanta
The entire length of road on 13th Street between Spring Street and West Peachtree Street needs to be repaved. The road is very uneven with discarded and hardened concrete piles making the road very rough. Also need new signage on this road indicating that it is a ONE WAY street. currently in the middle of the road in front of the parking lot, there is no signage and people are always going the wrong way.
  • Crosswalk Archived
122-142 8th Street Northeast Atlanta, GA 30309, USA - Atlanta
Cross walk is dangerous! Road is down to one lane at crosswalk intersection with a two foot water filled pothole. This is the product of the city of Atlanta road resurfacing program. The road graders cracked a water pipe and never repaired it. Has been this way for over three weeks. Par for the course with the city of ATLANTA.
  • Ponce De Leon Blvd & Parkway Dr NE, Atlanta, Fulton, GA - Atlanta
Going westbound on Ponce de Leon at Parkway Drive, several nice potholes await you
  • Sidewalk Surface Acknowledged
906-908 Piedmont Ave Ne Atlanta, GA 30309, USA - Atlanta
    07/03/2012
The sidewalk has a large section missing. It drops down @ 10" x 9'x6' to dirt and gravel. I have seen patrons that use this section of the side walk trip and fall. Patrons that are wheel chair bound have to steer out onto Juniper st. And hope not to get run over by passing motorist.
Please repair this section of hazardous sidewalk quickly before someone gets seriously injured!
  • 1323 Piedmont Rd Ne Atlanta, GA 30309 - Atlanta
    No bike lanes around park
  • 787-813 West Peachtree St Nw Atlanta, GA 30308, USA - Atlanta
The traffic lights at West Peachtree and Fifth have weird lenses in them that are probably supposed to serve some good purpose by "aiming" the light beams. But all they do is make the signals invisible. It's been this way for years. Please take them down and replace with modern LED signals.
