City of Farmington Hills City Manager

Six acre parcel of property on the NE corner of Grand River & Drake was cleared for development and then left to become an eyesore for this corner. Parcel should be developed or the area should be beautified until development can proceed. Riteaid is the owner or leasee of this property.

Cars coming out of this office park can not turn left, so many cut across to the soccer park to turn around, some goto next biz... If following the rules, you have to go north .2 miles, then do a michigan left, followed by another michigan left, then finally a right turn to get going south... This takes about 4 minutes.

I am wondering when Inkster road between 9 and 10 Mile Rd will be finished. First it was closed from 10 to 11 Mile and now 9 to 10 Mile. This 2 miles of road has been under construction for 5 months now! I work on 11 Mile Rd and I live 1 block east of Inkster. I have been going around this mess all summer and I would appreciate a date when this will be done. I find it hard to believe that it takes this long to resurface 2 miles of a 2 lane street! And I never see anyone working on it! Thank You.

Entire road between 13 mile & 14 mile road

Between 4:20 to 6:00 West bound 12 mile Rd is getting backed up past Drake Rd due to the timing of the light at Halsted Rd. When the west bound light turns green the light at the previous crossover turns red, so only the traffic between Halstead and the Cross over can get through, and the traffic Turning to West bound 12 Mile from the East bound 12 Mile can make it through the light.

Once the Cross over light turns green no cars make it through Halsted before that light turns Red. This is causing backups for over a mile. Traffic west of Halsted is very light all the way to Novi Rd and beyond showing that the light timing is the cause of this. There is a long period of time where no traffic is crossing Halsted when that light is green since the cross over light is red.

Both cross over and Halsted lights should be green to allow more traffic to cross Halstead.

The paving contractor skimmed the top layer of cement on Orchard Lake Road between 13 & 14 Mile Road and it is a catastrophe. What is taking so long to get it blacktopped? How about coordinating the work more appropriately. That road and the bumps is outrageous! Figure it out - this can't be your first rodeo - or is it? Who should we send the mechanical and whiplash claims to?

Haggerty Road is rough north of 9 mile to 12 Mile

Orchard Lake Road (from 12 mile up to Walnut Lake) is in terrible condition! That whole area is supposed to be considered expensive and upscale, however the road there is like a 4th world nation!
The entire road needs to be re-done for that entire 4 mile stretch!

Potholes on Grand River eastbound on overpass bridge over M-5, right lane.

On the stoplight at 8 Mile & Brentwood, Westbound Lane, the yellow light is out.

Road Side street light is currently out. Has been for at least a week. Directly in front of 21405 Farmington Rd
