Public Parking Lot Inaccessible Open

51-99 Curcombe Street Hartford, Connecticut - Sheldon Charter Oak

The parking lot at Curcombe St and Hendricxsen Ave cannot be accessed due to a large pile of gravel blocking the entrance. The lot itself is also not ready for parked cars. The sports teams who pay to use Colt Park are dependent upon this lot for parking and the season has begun. This lot needs to be cleared immediately and the entrances made accessible again.

Walked by 2/20/10 - bags gone but not the rest of the trash.. and the bags by the east entrance to Colt Park are still there as well.

Large Piles of Debris Acknowledged

8 Hendricxsen Avenue Hartford, CT - Sheldon Charter Oak

There is a tremendous volume of tree trunks and branches that have been dumped into the parking lot at the corner of Hendricxsen and Maseek streets. These massive piles have encouraged household dumping, are an eyesore and will prevent users of Colt Park to park their vehicle off-street when baseball season begins in two weeks. There is also high piles of snow that need to be bulldozed down in order that they melt more quickly.

all the street lights are out from Stonington to Wyllys Street... its been this way for 2 weeks. This is a serious safety issue with Colt Park very near, car break-ins, and rodents (skunks) in the area. this issue needs to be address ASAP before someone gets hurt.

Despite a major clean-up effort by the City of Hartford less than one week ago, the area around the Clemente Field and parking lot off Wawarme Ave in Colt Park is an eyesore of new litter. There are plenty of trash barrels yet the litter is strewn all over the place.
