Notified About

  • 414 Centre Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Signals out of sync when making left turn off exit 19 from Route 93 on to Centre Street, causing traffic during morning rush hour to back up onto the highway. When signals had been properly timed, this turn took a minute or two - now that they are mis-timed, this turn takes 20+ minutes. PLEASE FIX!
  • 15 Hull St Quincy, MA - Quincy
The yard of 15 Hull Street is in terrible condition, and has been for a long time. I understand this is a Section 8 property. Who from the city is allowing this house to ruin the entire neighborhood? Is no one checking in with unannounced visits? Often trash sits along the right side of the house, with no lids, and is not brought out on trash day, bringing animals of all kinds to the neighborhood. The front and back yards are filled with junk (is it normal to leave a tandem stroller outside during the winter and NEVER use it?). What is sad is that I understand from others that the interior is even more deplorable, and there are young children living there. I am concerned for their well being. PLEASE help, and help this week. For the sake of the children.
  • Weston Ave Quincy, MA - Quincy
The City of Quincy repaired/improved this sidewalk in 2010 and it does not comply with the ADA laws requiring an accessible curb cut when sidewalk is "improved".
Please obey the law and install the curb cut. It isn't right to ignore those who face enough challenges in their lives. Thank you.

  • 251 Arlington Street Quincy, MA 02170, United States of America - Quincy
Tenant of the house constantly park in front of the house and blocking pedestrian side walk. People cannot park on the Arlington Street, if they do they will be blocking those cars who parked on the side walk. There is a street parking sign as it is eligible to park on Arlington Street.
  • 118 Freedom Way Quincy, MA - Quincy
Owner of 118 Freedom Way, Quincy, MA is growing food on city owned grass. City street-city curb- city grass - the grass is where the owner of the hoise dug up and decided to plant there own garden. Is this something we as homeowners are allowed to do? I don't see anyone else in the neighborhood doing it. Why do people feel like they can do anything they want. I am including a picture of the woman tending to her garden on city property.
  • MBTA Gate Acknowledged
166 Independence Avenue Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
This gate is always closed. Use to be for pedestrian access to the station.
  • 646 & 692 Quincy Shore Drive Quincy, MA - Quincy

There are two yacht clubs along Quincy Shore Drive. Both clubs can be accessed from the water by a common channel; however the channel has filled with sand from the ongoing DCR beach maintenance project. At low tide people cannot go back and forth to their boats because the water in the channel is too low. Rumor has it that money had been set aside by the State of Massachusetts to dredge the channel, however within the City of Quincy there seems to be a problem prioritizing the job.
The yacht clubs have members who are working class citizens and retirees. Dues are not high but members are expected to put in work hours to maintain the building and programs. The City of Quincy collects taxes on the boats moored in the harbor by the clubs, however it seems the City of Quincy does not want to take responsibility for maintaining the water way. If the City of Quincy were to facilitate dredging that water way, .construction workers would be employed.

From a safety point of view having the channel open would allow emergency marine equipment and manpower quick access to the city intra structure.

  • Street light out Acknowledged
Clement Terrace Quincy, MA - Quincy
The street light is actually on Squantum Street (at the intersection of Clement Terrace by the golf course). It is VERY dark along this portion of the street and it has been out for a very long time.
  • 378-398 Newport Ave Quincy, MA, 02170, USA - Quincy
There is a small message on the top of this page telling people to use the city website to report issues. I have little to no luck doing this. Phone calls have not been returned, no one is updating case #s. The next step would be to call ward councillor.Fyi- ward 5 head of constitute services is partnered personally with ward councillor, so Im not sure if conflict of interest here.
  • 3 School St Quincy, MA 02169, USA - Quincy

The owners and delivery guy for School house pizza park illegally in front of their store. It makes it very hard for trucks and buses to turn right onto School St... And if you are a cyclist like I am it is very dangerous when you come around the corner with a car/truck or bus next to you.

This clown has now started parking in the handicaped space. Must have a cop in their pocket

  • Street light out Acknowledged
Colby Road At Faxon Southeast corner, Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
The only visible pole number is this very old one. The light has been flickering on and off, and the last few times I've seen, it has been off or very very dim.
