Murfreesboro Mayor

Notified About

  • 2700-2770 Asbury Lane Murfreesboro Tennessee - Murfreesboro
How many more accidents need to happen before something is done to fix this issue on the Asbury Lane/Medical Center Pkwy intersection? I know they call the issue being "resolved" with the widened median. However, with this "widened" median, I have been in an accident here (from confused people at the stop sign not knowing those turning have the right of way) along with others. I can never get TO my house or FROM my house without feeling like I am going though a defensive driving class. I would think Rutherford County would be tired of being called to the scene of the same intersection. With all the time cleaning up accidents, we could have spent that time on resolving the issue. I suggest having the road (asbury lane) moved back or connected to the road behind the farm, so we can come out at the light near the gas station (or even the light at the embassy would be nice). This would also eliminate the confusion of those who dont know the interstate is 10 ft away and not in the neighborhood. Yes, I love having the interstate a hop skip and jump away, but I think Id rather be able to safely get to and fro. Also, it would be nice if the grass is kept cut so you can actually see what is coming. I know you may be tired of reading about this issue, but think about those tired of sitting in traffic! Thank you!
  • 605 River Rock Blvd Murfreesboro, TN - Murfreesboro
The now defunct River Rock Rcquet Club has allowed the lower end of their property to go un-attended. It is horribly grown-up and has become a sanctuary for all types of wildlife. In the past 12 months, and in my backyard, I have seen foxes, coyotes, bobcats, deer, skunks, oppossums, armadillo, and snakes. I thought the City had an ordinance that prevented land owners from allowing their property to be overgrown.
  • Middle Tennessee Bouldevard Murfreesboro, TN - Murfreesboro
As a student of MTSU getting around or onto campus is bad especially the sidewalks on Middle TN BLVD. These sidewalks are also not handicapped accessible.
  • 1478-1498 St Andrews Dr Murfreesboro, TN 37128, USA - Murfreesboro
Numerous accidents occur at this intersection due to people running the stop signs on Cason Trail.
  • Old Nashville Hwy Bark Park Murfreesboro, TN - Murfreesboro
The Small Dog area has been without access to running water for quite sometime now. The large dogs have a brand new fountain and water bowl, however the little dogs pipe for water won't even turn on let alone a bowl on the ground for them to drink out of.
  • Interstate 24 & Old Fort Pkwy Murfreesboro, TN - Murfreesboro
This off ramp has been a mess forever as vehicles exiting the interstate have nowhere to go when merging. It is amplified when the vehicle exiting needs to turn left onto Thompson Lane.
  • 2259 Middle Tennessee Blvd Murfreesboro, TN - Murfreesboro
Middle Tennessee Boulevard between East Main street and Greenland Drive has multiple deep potholes and large bumps going both ways in both lanes and are unavoidable. These cause unsafe conditions and very unpleasant driving, especially for those with smaller cars or bigger wheels.
  • 811 Lillard Rd. Murfreesboro, TN - Murfreesboro
House burned halfway down three months ago, but hasn't been touched since. Has become a haven for vandals and needs to be addressed ASAP. Totally trashing up an otherwise nice MTSU neighborhood!
  • Asbury Ln Murfreesboro, TN - Murfreesboro
There needs to be a light pole on Asbury Lane. Many are having a hard time seeing where to turn in at night and traffic gets backed up. There have also been many accidents where people have tried pulling out/in of Asbury Lane.
  • 167 Lansdan Murfreesboro/Rutherford, TN - Murfreesboro
This is in an area behind this house that the developer intended for drainage. It is completely grown up behind this address and a couple more addresses East of this one. I'm worried that it might block the water flow and cause flooding. It may be the city's responsibility. I'm not sure who actually owns this land.
  • 1840 Antebellum Dr Murfreesboro , TN - Murfreesboro

  • 940 New Salem Hwy Murfreesboro, TN - Murfreesboro
A traffic light is needed in this area. Traffic backs up from the Bridge Ave light frequently. Also someone from the School Bus Maintenance stops traffic in the afternoons around 2pm to let buses out and they get traffic backed up as well.
