    Every day, I drive eastbound on Rt 20 into Painesville. As I pass the RR crossing at Fairgrounds Rd. and continue through the stop light at Fern Dr., the left lane ends shortly after that. There are at least 2 - 3 cars that speed up and try desperately to squeeze into the right lane traffic. There is only a small yellow sign by the Pizza Hut/ Wings Restaurant that no body seems to pay attention to. Is there another way to block out that left lane earlier to let people know ahead of time that the lane ends. Thank you.

    See these vagrants hanging in front of library by the front door just standing there, they can be there for hours. They don't use the library, (doubt they know how to read). And you can tell they don't pay taxes that pay for the library. Also you see them on the steps at St James waiting for their free meals. Nobody wants to see these people, Morley and St James need to kick them off their properties. This is not helping Painesville with the improved image they want. Get rid of them.

    Mentor ave. or route 20 should go back as a 4 lane road. You can not get on mentor ave. from any of the side streets unless you wait a long time or if some one lets you merg. When west bound traffic goes by then the east line goes by and you can't merg on to mentor.

    Everyday children play at rec park and known sexual offenders are repoted as last seen at this area,most reported on the lake county sheriffs sexual offenders list. We need to clean it up. My son a Harvey student needs to walk to school each day in this area. Something needs to be done.

    Ever since Huntington Elementary left, the traffic lights at Hines and N Saint Clair have been left with N Saint Clair having a blinking yellow and Hines having a blinking red. Unfortunately many people on Hines do not realize that N Saint Clair only has a blinking yellow and either stop then go with a car coming, or they just blow through the blinking red and treat it like a blinking yellow. I have now had 2 near misses at this intersection. Please take down the useless lights and put up a stop sign on Hines and a mention that its only a 2 way stop. Maybe if it actually says "STOP" the people might actually stop!

    Long lines on mentor ave. at 3:30 to 5pm. It's hard to come up from Jackson st.to merg into traffic going east. plus from Chestnut to Fern are long lines and light at Chestnut only alouds 8 or 9 cars to go.

    I LIKE TO GO TO THE PARK AT NIGHT AND JUST SIT THERE AND ENJOY THE WALKS AND THE BREEZE LOTS OF TIMES I TAKE MY DAUGHTER AND NEPHEW WITH ME I NOTICED THAT THE PLAYGROUND IS A VERY DARK CREEPY PLACE AT NIGHT MY NEPHEW SUGGESTED THAT I CONTACT SOMEONE SO THAT THEY CAN FIX THE PROBLEM.. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE PLAYGROUND LIT UP AT NIGHT SOME LIGHT WOULD BE APPRECIATED THAT WAY I FEEL SAFER AND MORE SECURE.

    There are a lot of people that use Rockwood Drive as a cut through to miss the light on the corner or State & Erie Streets. They speed down the street and fly around the corner, many times just missing traffic coming from the other direction. There are many children that live on the street and I am deeply concerned they will be hit, if they are on the sidewalk or street. I have stopped police and offered to have them sit in the driveway and watch, they don't. This has got to stop, please help before a child is injured!

    Elm street is in the worst condition of any road I have driven on in the past few years in Northeast OH. I am a resident that has to drive on this road everyday and I fear that I am going to damage my car every time. Also often people that are trying to avoid the large potholes end up swerving into other lanes causing a major problem with safe travel.

    ** I posted this problem about 2 years ago now and although there has been a few attempts to slightly cover the potholes there is still not change to the over all condiditon. I continue to worry that someone is going to swerve into my lane to avoid damaging their car and in the process get someone killed. The street needs to be leveled and asphalt patches put where the damage is. I really do not understand how this can be okay for residents to drive on. The worst part is, for some there is not an alternative way to get where they need to go. I just last week had part of my muffler intake fall off my car because of the hard damage taken by a pothole when someone would not merge appropriately. Rediculous.
