Texting While Driving - PHL area

Way too many times I witness disrespectable, clueless drivers, mostly drivers who do not live on West Marshall Street, drive up and down my street like it’s a speedway.
We have 10 children within 50yds of each other that play here on their own front lawns and or their own driveways and these “people” have NO CLUE that they even exist. I even see people texting while they are driving on my street.

All I am asking is to be more self conscience while driving down this street. Times are changing and we now have children on this block unlike a few years ago when it was only older people residing here.

I would like to see some sort of attention grabbing sign such as “Kids At Play”, a slower Speed limit (15mph), or a speed bump here and there, to slow these people down before someone gets seriously injured.

SICK AND TIRED OF THE STOP SIGNS BEING IGNORED ON THIS STREET....I HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN WHO PLAY OUTSIDE AND NO ONE EVER STOPS ESPECIALLY AT WOODLAND AND COLLENBROOK...BUT IS NOTICED ALL UP AND DOWN WOODLAND, THEY SHOULD HAVE MADE THE WHOLE STREET ONE WAY...WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE CUT THROUGH HERE....SLOW THE @#$% DOWN, GET OFF YOUR PHONES AND STOP TEXTING AND START STOPPING AT THE STOP SIGNS. PAY ATTENTION!!!!! WE LOVE OUR CHILDREN AND DON'T WANT TO LOSE THEM OR HAVE THEM HURT!!!!!

I watch the traffic go by my house each day.And I see at least ( 7 out of 10 ) drivers texting while in motion.And I watched it happen rite next to a cop @ state and lansdown ave. I thought there was a new law? That fine money could help the township!!

There are people who live in apartments who walk to and from the train station up and down the hill that has no sidewalk... People also park in the Media Station Apartments parking lot who don't live there but use the train. This is very dangerous with the SUV's going 40+ up and down the hill (supposed to be 25 mph limit).. The limit should also be reduced to 15 or 20 mph.. There are blind and deaf people who take the train who walk this road to get to the train as well.. Something needs to be done before anyone gets killed by a speeding texting soccer mom.

I think the speed at which the students drive on our Township roads needs to be addressed. They zoom out of the high school parking lot with music blaring, lighting their cigarettes and chatting or texting in an effort to get away from school as fast as they can. The morning is worse, as there are elementary and middle school children waiting at bus stops. And some parents are just as bad in an effort to get their children to school on time.
JUST GET UP EARLIER AND SLOW DOWN!!
