Thousands of us were so excited a few years back when we heard of the Harris Hills shopping, restuarants, theater and hotels progect coming to that area. Then the recession (I guess) hit and it fell through? Many of us would love for something like this to materialize for all of us who commute to Huntsville and Madison everyday from the northeast part of Madison County and into Jackson County.

    Like Harris Hills. With Target, Best Buy, Kirklands, Michaels. It is a long way into town and this shopping complex would draw customers from Scottsboro and Gurley areas. There is NOTHING close by and located for those areas. And NO ONE wants to go to the Wal Mart on 72/Sparkman. Some Nice Sit down restaurants.

    Safety issue. Multiple covers off the openings for what I presume are water run off drains.
    Reported once and response was that they couldn’t be found.
    They are between the new construction and the trailhead entrance.
