Northgate

The street light at the intersection of Tauber and University (next to the bank) is off.

3 dumpsters positioned on Boyette Street sidewalk next to Tradition Apartment building B. These force pedestrians to step into the street to go around them. There is a blind woman living in the Cherry street apartments next door who walks this route several times a week. This is a serious safety issue.

There are three trees along this section of Nagle St (between Cross and Cross St) that have low branches (4-5 feet) above the sidewalk.

Both street lights in this block are out.

I visited Dat Dog at 101 Church Ave, Suite 1200, College Station Texas 77840 on August 17, 2019 at approximately 2 pm - 3 pm. Due to there being limited parking in front of the building we parked in the paid parking lot down the street. As we were leaving the restaurant, I walked out onto the sidewalk to make my way to the parking lot. There is a 2-tier sidewalk right out front. The surface closest to the building is one level and then the surface closest to the road has a gradual slope to it. I did not see the 2nd layer and stepped off and broke my right foot. Has this happened before? This has got to be a hazard. I do not drink, I can see well and it was clear weather but this was not something I could see as I walked. Thank you for your response.

The lot, in addition to not being maintained, having trash, no landscaping, etc., now has a dumpster being stored on site.

B. Northgate Districts (NG).
10. Dumpster and Mechanical Equipment Standards.
The following standards are in addition to the requirements of the Solid Waste section of the General Development Standards article of this UDO.
a. Any dumpster and other waste storage area or container other than streetscape trash receptacles shall be located to the rear of the building served by the dumpster, area, and/or container.

There is no building/active work on this site the dumpster could be related to. This specific lot is becoming an eyesore for the West side of Northgate.

Mobile vendors operating on city property without permit after 9pm. Northgate officers, code enforcement and fire department are aware of this issue but failing to take action. This has been an ongoing issue for the past 3 months. Large groups cooking outside with open flames which is a fire hazard. The issue is constantly outside of Duddleys draw on Northgate

Every time there is rain, the storm drain on the corner (east/gas station side of Boyett) does not drain properly. Even after the rain stops, water accumulates in the street and sometimes rises up onto the sidewalk. The water remains in the street hours after the rain stops

GROW SOMETHING HERE!!! I don't care what you grow. Grow poison ivy if you want. I'm just sick of walking by these ugly tubes sticking out of mud everyday. It's so ugly. Just add some grass on it man.

The blockades that are used at night to close college main impede the sidewalk during the day. Are these blockades in violation of city ordinance?

There is a huge pile of branches and yard waste here that has been here for two months.
