There have been many potholes on Smith rd. from Cenacle rd. to Virginia ave. for over 2 yrs. Drivers actually cross lanes to avoid them on this winding , poorly marked road. Phone calls to the hwy. dept. receive terse, nasty responses from those who answer the phone. Needless to say, this is a dangerous situation especially with Sachem H.S. students walking and driving on the road.
