Notified About

  • 1513 Jackson St Scranton, PA 18504, USA - Scranton
1513 Jackson St is a revolving door of section 8 tenants. This is a good neighborhood with decent people living here. However, I am so sick and tired of the rude people that pass through there every month. Shouting, cursing, fighting, ambulances, police are the norm there. It cannot be a good thing to see young teens constantly going in and out of the upstairs apartment. There are some long time tenants that reside there and they are descent folks. However, all of the incidents that always occur there must put a great deal of stress on the good tenants. Everyone that lives in this neighborhood wishes that place would go away.
  • 14th & Division Sts West Scranton Scranton, PA 18504, USA - Scranton
The area of 14th Street & Division Street in West Scranton are a huge mess. I did not grow up there but my husband did and while I only lived there for a short time my in laws still live there. The neighborhood has become a slum. The rental properties are rented to any scumbag that can pay the rent or can collect section 8. It awful to see a home that is being rented house 15 people nevermind then having 15 cars to park on the street. I had a run in with one of the scumbags living in that area yesterday as I picked my son up. Something needs to be done about all these low life losers who don't work and collect SSI illegally or sell drugs or do nothing and then have the nerve to tell me I can't park my car in front of their rented home to pick my son up. Lets clean up West Side...
  • 1401-1499 Jackson St Scranton, PA 18504, USA - Scranton
I know that my neighbors and I are fed up with all the trash that gets blown into our yards from the Family Dollar store parking lot. Besides the parking lot being a magnet for illegal activities, their customers throw their trash on the ground and walk away. It may help if the store would put some trash cans outside But, I am sure that the trash receptacles contents would wind up in our yards anyway. I would love to be able to give out littering tickets to the violators. It would also be great if the employees were more proactive in the community in keeping our streets and yards clean. Not surprising is their parking lot looks clean most of the time...that's because all the TRASH is in our Yards
