Issues: bike concern

One solution to Wallingford's parking issues is to encourage people to drive less. One way to do that would be to provide bike racks so people can ride into downtown.
If you would like to see this too please respond and tell us where you think the best place would be:
A) Town Hall (45 South Main Street)
B) Simpson Court (50 N Main St)
C) The Train Station (37 Hall Ave)

Just last night, my friend and I were walking N.Main Street, and about six boys on bikes came racing up behind us, they had no intention of stopping, so we had to move, as they zoomed by, my friend shouted,"Bikes on the road, that's the law." Of course they completely ignored us. We are sick of this happening on a daily basis. I can't wait for winter when these rude kids won't be able to ride at all!

I see an increase in people riding their bikes on sidewalks, sometimes they don't even warn you they are coming up behind you, you just hear them and have to jump out of the way! Or they are coming toward you and don't move. The law is, bikes on the road!
