    About a week ago, a small (3-4 foot) dead shark was seen floating near this trashcan.

    Based on the smell from the last few days, the dead shark is now in this trashbin.

    This construction debris has been blocking the curb for over three weeks now.
    My previous complaint was handed off to Caltrans, but it's clear that some of this belongs to the "City of Alameda."
    It would be nice if someone took responsibility for this mess.

    For all the concern about drainage when building this corner, it would be nice if they cleaned up the mess in the gutters.
    This stuff has been here for over a week - since they finished the latest step of this months long project.

    This message is for AT&T, but there is a potential electrical hazard here, until the problem is fixed.
    Missing lock on AT&T Telecom box at this intersection. The doors were wide open, and no technician was around. I closed the doors, but the lock would not latch.

    This underground utility box has been slowly leaking water for several years now. (As evidenced by the weeds and old sandbags.)
    There has been a puddle in front of the driveway for months, but the puddle has gotten much larger in recent days.
    Recent pipe work on the PG&E lines nearby (see later photo) may have resulted in increased water flow.
    There was heavy equipment working on that side of the road last week, including a cement mixer to pour replacement for the sidewalk that was jack hammered away.
    I think the underground box has an AMP logo, but too much mud is covering it right now.
    All leakage is on the east side of the road, near the condo complex.

    The Northbound Westline Dr traffic signal is not allowing more than 3-4 cars through at a time.

    It switches from green to yellow while cars are still in line.

    It seems like the N/B Westline Dr sensors have been out of sync since they upgraded the intersection with the bike lanes.

    Vandalized 'No Parking' signs.

    About two weeks ago (Feb 9th), I saw a stack of 3-4 metal 'No Parking/Street Sweeping' signs lying near the bench at the corner of the housing complex.
    They were the red and white metal signs usually seen at the top of a metal pole. It looked like they had been torn off and discarded. I didn't have camera, and a few days later, they were gone.
    So, there might be a section of Central that is missing it's 'No Parking' signs...

    Every Saturday, for the last month or so, there has been an oily sludge along the shoreline. It really looks like oily bilge water from one or more boats in the Ballena bay harbor.
    I reported it as an oil spill, but the fire department came down, and said it was 'normal' algea.
    This is happening with increasing frequency, and it's always on the weekends.
    Who should I contact about this?
