How to close your report: If you select "Close this issue," you'll be alerted that you can't leave the comment field blank. So you have to put at least a period or something in the message box before you submit your request to CLOSE the issue. Then when you click Comment, your comment appears with "CLOSED" on it. The report will still say "Open" until you re-access the report after navigating away from it. I click on Issues, and my newly-closed report shows up as the first item, with its status as "CLOSED."

    A SeeClickFix problem.

It's not easy to figure out how to get back to the list of the things you've reported. I click Watch Areas, choose Stamford PLUS, and then hover over the people icons till I see mine and click on it. That pulls up my "account," where I can manage the reports I've made.

  • 1 3rd Street Stamford Connecticut - Turn Of River

On 5/25/2018 I noticed a hole in the crosswalk where Third Street meets the east edge of Bedford Street. I made a report 5/31/2018 on SeeClickFix, but it has disappeared (6/16/2018). I'm reporting it again for the record: Sat., 6/16/2018 5:41 pm DST.

Within less than a week after my 5/31/2018 report, I drove by there and saw that it had been repaired. Thank you, City of Stamford!

  • 1-5 6th Street Stamford, Connecticut - Downtown
The traffic light for westbound traffic on 6th Street at Summer Street often stays red for several minutes. Once it was over 7 minutes. If fixing the timing of the traffic light is too expensive, then there should be a cheap sign for 6th St. cars that says "Left on red."
  • Third Street Stamford Connecticut - Downtown

Fri., 5/25/2018 7:46 pm Saw a large pothole: big slab of asphalt has been knocked out of the westbound lane of Third Street a few yards west of Bedford Street, a couple of feet south of the sidewalk on the NE side of the intersection. The hole is at least a foot square, a little larger on one side, and goes several inches deep (more than the 2" legally allowed). Some cars do not miss it. (Reported on SeeClickFix Thu., 5/31/2018 6:00 pm)

Within about a week, I drove by and noticed that this pothole had been nicely repaired. Thank you, City of Stamford!
