A trash can or two could definitely benefit the intersection of Brewery and Water Street. If one walks from this intersection towards the food trucks on Long wharf, there is a noted lack of publicly accessible trash receptacles.
Additionally, with the recent sidewalk improvements and coming cycletrack, this area stands to see greatly increased non-motorized traffic. This area already has a constant stream of litter (down water street), so increased foot traffic will only exacerbate the issue.

The crossings from the shore over to the food truck lot desperately need better signage/lighting. It is very dark in the crosswalk areas at night, and I worry that someone might get hit by a vehicle someday.
The Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacon Crossing lights (like installed on Olive St) would serve well for this region.

Trash & Recycling Archived29 Union Street New Haven, CT 06511, USA - Wooster SquareI cleaned up trash again on Union Street/Vision Trail in between Water Street and Fair Street. As there does not appear to be a public use dumpster in the area, I'd appreciate public works picking up the trash bags. Thanks!

As this area (Chestnut Street) already has a narrow sidewalk, this is a pedestrian safety issues
