  • 2380 2nd Avenue Decatur/DeKalb County, Georgia - Candler-McAfee
Georgia Power took down one of its damaged power poles back in late 2016, just feet from my property-entry gate. It is now 6 months later and they have yet to remove the pole. Neither DeKalb County nor Georgia Power have lifted a finger to get this eyesore removed from the public right-of-way. Can someone help?
  • 2369 Second Avenue Decatur, Georgia - DeKalb County
AT&T has a junction box property immediately next to my house which is very unkept. To add to their unkept property they left a telephone pole just laying on the ground since it broke at the base late last year. AT&T simply unhooked their lines from that pole and then hooked them up to the GA Power pole next to it. THEY HAVE YET TO REMOVE THE POLE ON THE GROUND!!! Could you please remove this as it is not only an eyesore but also a safety issue? I am sure this is also in violation to some kind of DeKalb County ordinance or code.
  • 2411 Second Avenue Decatur, Georgia - US Congressional District GA5
Abandoned and/or vacant house at the corner of Flat Shoals Road and Second Avenue with an unmaintained lot which includes excessive soil runoff when it rains as well as a very overgrown amount of weeds. This house is a complete eyesore to the neighborhood. There is a sign that warns of a "Private Sewer Spill". Can DeKalb County check on this?
  • Brannen Road Southeast / Eastbound I-20 Exit Ramp To Gresham Road Gresham Park, Georgia - Gresham Park
The traffic light timing at the Eastbound I-20 Gresham Road exit has been malfunctioning lately. During peak, as well as non-peak hours of the day and night, the light will turn green but quickly change to red within 5 seconds causing a back-up at the exit ramp, specially for vehicles turning left onto Gresham Road. The light for the Gresham Road traffic however, will stay green and cycle green on both directions several times for about 3-5 minutes..again, this while the exit ramp light will only stay green for less than 10 seconds allowing only 3-5 cars at a time.
