Governor John Davis Lodge Turnpike & Interstate 95 & Ella T Grasso Boulevard New Haven, Connecticut -
City Point
There should be a yield sign here and in the prior 3 exits on the northbound side of I95. Drivers who are entering the high way assume they have the right of way, and wait until the very last minute to yield to the highway often causing the very traffic that they are causing and then trying to avoid. This entrance ramp is the worst as it is incredibly short. I've seen in other locations either yield/stop signs or even stop signals that make the entering drivers yield, and prevent the main highway drivers from slowing, and limit the maximum inflow of cars, which is also an issue when the entrance ramp is filled to capacity with cars that all try to enter simultaneously.
