The only 3 family house among all single homes is never going to cease being trashy.
The new barrels were delivered Mon., trash pick up was Tue. and they are sill on the street.
They also need to be told not to place their barrels in the front of the house along their fence. I'm tired of the ugly view. I don;t know of anyone placing barrels out front of their property.
This landlord needs some serious talking to, because nothing seems to work but for a week or two. I don't know if they even used the new barrels, because our yards are full of their trash as usual.

There are 2 car dealers on the corner of No. Montello St. & Studley Ave. I don't know which of the 2 (or both) are using Studley Ave. as an everyday route.using car carriers that can hold 6 to 8 cars. When the truck is empty all you can hear is the steel clanking on the bumpy street.
This has been an issue that was corrected a few years ago and is now repeating itself. Not sure if it's new ownership or not, but it has to stop.
Number one, the" No Trucks Allowed" sign is missing, the Stop sign is painted white. and the Studley Ave. sign is set way too far back to be seen.
    Thank you.

Reported several times in past year. No pole & no light. No one even knows there is a street, because it's so dark .

Entire neighborhood has to continually clean up trash being blown from recycle bins from the only 3 family house at 19 - 21 Studley Ave. because they don't put weight on papers, cups, etc. Have spoken to absent landlord, who has been nice in the past, but it does no good for only a week or two. This has been going on for years.
Long standing single family hone owners who are elderly & incapable of cleaning up after slobs who ruin our neighborhood.
    Thank you.

Large trucks & semi trucks are using Laurel Ave. (A very small street) & Studley Ave. after delivering to Main St. Market. I have called the store and they deny such trucks make deliveries. A flat out lie!
This usually occurs on a Wed. every week between 12 noon and 2 p.m. This past snow storm one of the semi's couldn't make the turn and got stuck. This could have caused a major issue with the residents as the plow wouldn't have been able to come down either street.
I have already reported semi trucks using Studley Ave. as well on a random basis.
What is with such huge trucks using residential streets?
Laurel Ave. already has grass growing in the street, meaning it has VERY thin pavement and Studley Ave. is like driving on an obstacle course of nothing but bumps.
    Thank you.

Random use of residential street by semi-trucks on a regular basis. Unable to provide date or time, however it usually occurs late in evening around 10 p.m. or earlier.
This street is badly chewed up as it is and is in very poor condition, I anticipate the possibility of water pipe breakage if it continues seeing as the pavement is extremely thin.
    Thank you.

Delivery to North End Deli on a weekly basis has a delivery truck, which is a 16 wheeler truck using a very small street (Laurel Ave.) then proceeds to turn onto Studley Ave. with great difficulty, however continues to do so on a weekly basis. Spoke ro North End Deli who denies they have such a delivery truck. Street is MUCH too small lor such a vehicle plus the street is in need of bad repair. Such huge vehicles should not be using residential streets period!
    Thank you;
Wed. is the day at approximately 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. weekly.

Routine plow damage (going on for 22 yrs.) to corner of 28 Studley Ave. & Laurel Ave. Please use grass seed and not weeds, which take over my lawn. Thank you.

Berm also never replaced the length of Laurel Ave., which was totaled by plow a few yrs. ago. This berm was placed there by the city years ago.to prevent wash out of my sloping property from stones and gravel during rain, etc
    Thank you.

Trash Transfer Station continues working in wee hours, such as 3 a.m. on. Noise is horrendous!i I thought this issue was resolved?
  • 28 Studley Ave. Brockton, Massachusetts - Ward 7
The Trash Transfer Station has returned to working in the wee hours of the morning, all morning. It is now 4 a.m. and it has been nonstop for hours. People who have to work are being deprived of sleep and those who don’t work are important as well. This HAS to stop. It’s been going on for years and we thought it was resolved.
    Thank you.

2 yrs. of horrendous noise coming from Trash Transfer Station anywhere from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. . Have repeatedly called P.D. who finally came to my house informing me they have a right to work even after telling them it was disturbing the peace and if I called them for a noisy party they would put a stop to that. I have no idea how people who live on top of this tolerate it, because even though I am far enough away, it keeps our neighborhood awake and most have to work. They are not allowed to work after a certain hour according to their agreement. NO ONE who creates noise should be allowed to work 1 a.m. to 6 a.m.

Same property reported for many years for trash on pick up day and other days as well. Debri flies all over neighborhood. Everyone tired of picking up after them. Landlord has been repeatedly notified and B.O.H has responded numerous times. Thank you.

Upon fire hydrant flushing, the force of the water chewed up the street that was patched. The crack is wide and is spreading the width of the street. Possible future damage of stability to the hydrant. Thank you.

19-21 Studley Ave.is a 3 family dwelling with YEARS of reports on being trashy. Trash pick-up is Tue. The tenants put it out early Mon. mornings with no concern of over filled barrels and trash flying all over the neighborhood. We have not only picked up after them, but they hardly ever pick their barrels up after pick-up, which remains there most of the week with left over trash still flying around. They also store their barrels in the front of their house. I don't happen to like looking out my front window seeing barrels and rubbish day after day for YEARS. The past 2 weeks a TV set has sat there and not been picked up. We have all spoken to the landlord for years to no avail. He warns them, but it continues. The city has also charged him and given him plenty enough notices and warnings. What can the city do to correct this situation. Enough is enough. This 3 family house is among an entire single family neighborhood who takes pride in their property and is tired of cleaning their yards of their trash. Thank you.

Unable to see street sign. Don't even know a street exists due to it being so dark.
