    City garbage truck destroyed a large limb on tree. Part of the limb is still attached and hanging over roadway. Large limb need to be cut and picked up. Damaged overhead limb need to be cut off.

    Sand and vegetation has been allowed to take over the roadway. A couple years ago, they moved the no parking sign closer to the road and now it’s overgrown again. Sand and vegetation needs to be removed several feet back.

    An additional channel marker is needed between 1B and markers 5 and 6. I ran hard aground yesterday going straight from 1B to the next markers but the channel actually swings out to the East. I think this issue was posted last year and the city has not addressed the issue. Will city be responsible for damage to my boat for not properly maintaining waterways and channel markers? Either we need another marker or the channel need to be properly dredged where indicated.

    In case you missed the letter in the VA Pilot today, Shore Dr. is still disintegrating from the west of the Lesner Bridge to Marlin Bay Dr. There are actually ruts in the road much larger than the potholes.

    All up and down the street there is evidence of leaking fluid or oil from a vehicle or equipment. It appeared after trash day. I have also seen excavators going up and down the street to a construction site. I am concerned about this oil washing into the storm drains and polluting the bay.

    Please fill in the multiple potholes on shore dr. between Great Neck and Marlin Bay dr. It would also be nice if the jarring bumps on the north, westbound lane at the transition from asphalt to concrete surface of the Lesner bridge and when exiting off the bridge could be leveled out. They have to be more than two inches deep and a violation of VDOT specs.

    It appears that water is bubbling up through a crack in paved surface in the city right of way. At first I believed it was just ground water but has been flowing for three days straight now during all tide cycles.

    Please remove the sand that has built up in front of this storm drain so that the runoff will go into the drain. Currently, all the stormwater runs down Jefferson, bypasses this drain until it gets to the one in front of my house, bringing all the debris with it and clogs up my drain and floods the front of my property.
