    The crosswalk paint at New Hampshire Ave. and 1st St., Northeast is badly worn. From the street it is very hard to see that there is a crosswalk there. I have had several drivers missed the fact that it is a crosswalk and nearly hit me.

    The dumpsters for the apartments between Hamilton St Ne and Riggs Rd are completely overflowing and trash is coming out into the alley. This happens literally every week. There is always enough trash for two dumpsters so it goes everywhere.

    The rain gardens on the south side of Longfellow Street between Blair Road and 1st St. NE do not drain properly. One in particular is full of standing water days after the last rain. This is both unsightly and a mosquito breeding hazard.

    After the alley repacking behind Hamilton St NE there is now a perpetual large puddle in the street because of a sunken area. This is a nuisance in the winter and a mosquito breeding ground in the summer.

    The apartment complex at the corner of Farragut and Rock Creek Church Road has taken over half the road with a fence in an attempt to expand their parking lot. As far as I can tell from the property maps, this isn’t their property. It makes the road only a single lane and poses a hazard to drivers trying to go through in opposite directions.

    Car with license plate 3CL7513 regularly parks off road in park and destroys the grass. This happens almost every school day in the morning.

    People have started to park on the grass near the community garden on the path that goes from Gallatin Street across the park to 1st St., Northeast. See the attached picture. This seems to happen during the day on weekdays.

    Fort Totten drive between Hamilton and Gallatin streets NE has a major dip in it from previous utility work. This road is a major thoroughfare for concrete trucks, dump trucks, and trash trucks. Whenever these go over the dip they bounce and shake the nearby buildings. This dip needs to be paved over smooth.
