    In the big field behind the Meritage Apartments, where Austin Creek is, there are usually two horses. Normally they are very quiet. Today one of them is whinnying in a high pitched loud shriek at regular intervals.

    I noticed that one of them looked pregnant, so perhaps she is having trouble delivering. Just thought I'd pass this along so you could let the owner of those horses know that one of them seems to be in distress.

    Someone has placed a Walmart shopping cart: it's partly on the sidewalk and partly on our property. It is on the south corner of our front yard on top of the city water access. We don't know who put it there.

    All around this intersection there is litter. This is prime tourist season. More of them are likely to stop in town and buy stuff if that intersection is cleaned up.

    Litter is on the sides of the road on the East side and at the median, southbound.
