There are several boarded-up houses on the east side of Dixwell near Hamden line. The backs of these houses, visible from the Farmington Canal Trail, are being used for graffiti, illegal dumping, etc. Can LCI look into this?

The sidewalk on Division Street next to the Community Baptist church parking lot is completely eroded. Needs serious work.

There is a crosswalk where the Farmington Canal Trail intersects Bassett Street. It's one of the busier intersections along the Trail and it could really use an in-street pedestrian crossing sign.

Mattress and other garbage dumped on south side of William Street

There is a large sign for Dow Realty that rests on public property near Court & Olive streets. Half the sign is in a parking lot (owned by New Haven Parking Authority) adjacent to Tobin & Melien. Half of the sign is in a publicly owned community greenspace separating the parking lot from the sidewalk. No variance has been granted for this infringement on public space.

Gateway's new building takes up half the sidewalk - clearly infringing on public right of way. What's the deal here?

The Vision Trail multi-use path along Sargent Dr. near IKEA is overgrown with foliage and branches coming over from the IKEA parking lot. Half of the path is obstructed. I don't know if IKEA or the City is responsible.

Large tree branch coming off street tree on north side of William near Osborn, blocking sidewalk passage and part of roadway. I believe the branch came off during the storm on Monday.

Directly across from Martinez school and one block from Cold Spring school, sidewalk here is completely crumbled and overgrown with weeds. Unsafe for children to walk here.

Are they replacing the underground fuel storage tanks here? Or was there a leak that needs to be cleaned up? Does anyone from the City have any information?

Overhanging branches on sidewalk on east side of State Street are a nuisance to pedestrians and should be trimmed back

In May 2010 the General Services Administration turned Federal Plaza in downtown New Haven -- the pedestrian concourse connecting City Hall, the federal courthouse, the Giaimo Federal Building, the Hall of Records, and the Connecticut Financial Center -- into a parking lot for federal employees. According to GSA representatives, use of the Plaza as a parking area was supposed to end after three months.

While the usage of the Plaza for parking may have been reasonable on a short-term basis to accommodate displaced federal employees during garage repairs, after more than a year the time has come for this totally inappopriate use of public space to be discontinued.

The intersection of Peck and Ferry is extremely dangerous for drivers and pedestrians. Cars parking in front of the liquor store on the northwest corner block the view for cars turning left from Peck onto Ferry, and the speeding on Ferry is out of control. With three intersections in a very short stretch of road, this would be an excellent place for a roundabout/traffic circle.

There is a single inverse-U rack adjacent to Russo Park. This is totally inadequate to handle the bicycle traffic on Saturday morning for the farmer's market. I believe there was an additional rack but it was damaged by a snow-plow over the winter and removed.

The old Two Brothers building is horrendously blighted - with multiple broken windows in the upper storey. It has a terrible effect on the aesthetics of the entire block.

The owner of 53 William St needs to clear the sidewalk in front of his or her property, or be fined.

This is a heavily trafficked block for bikes and pedestrians and could really use a bike rack on the east side of the street in front of Project Storefronts.

there are several parking meters on Hillhouse Ave that are out of order, incl. #127
