The tap water in the 1600 block of Bailiff Street appears to be discolored. Is there something we should know about our water? Is it safe to drink?

  • Other Acknowledged
1400 Glenwood Avenue Greensboro, NC 27403 - Greensboro
There is a consistent problem with people parking illegally in front of the Riz Mart. Cars park facing the wrong direction and right up to the intersection with Grove Street. This makes it difficult to turn onto Glenwood Avenue from Grove Street because it blocks the view of oncoming traffic, and the illegally parked cars will pull away from the curb unexpectedly almost causing a collision. Further, at night, when cars are parked facing the wrong direction, they typically leave their headlights on which are blinding to drivers headed southbound on Glenwood Avenue. This problem occurs all times during the day everyday while the Riz Mart is open. I think in addition to enforcement, there needs to be a sign that tells people they cannot park that close to the intersection.

  • 2105 Van Wert St Greensboro, NC 27403, USA - Greensboro
The yard of this abandoned house is not being mowed so the grass is about a foot tall. Also, there is an abandoned television on the edge of the yard that's been there for close to a month now.
  • 1801 J Ave Greensboro, NC 27403, USA - Greensboro
This is not so much a pothole as it is a depression in the middle of the street that seems to be getting worse. It looks like the street was cut into and then patched. It is really tearing up my car every time I drive over it. I'm not driving fast....I never do on residential streets. The area is so wide it's really difficult to avoid. This is in the middle of the roadway in front of 1801J Avenue.
  • Street light Acknowledged
1603-1605 Bailiff St Greensboro, NC 27403, USA - Greensboro
The street light in between 1605 and 1603 Bailiff Street has burned out. I have 2 elderly neighbors who are particularly bothered by this. It's too dark for me to take an adequate photograph, but it should not be difficult to find.
  • 1700 Van Wert St Greensboro, NC - Greensboro
This sign is getting so faded that it's getting hard to see it. It needs to be replaced, please.
  • 1001 Mccormick St. Greensboro NC 27403 - Greensboro
This stop sign is obstructed by this large shrub. It's getting worse as time goes on.
  • 1700 Ontario St Greensboro, NC 27403, USA - Greensboro
A company named OTI out of Winston-Salem has started to park their tractor trailers at the intersection of Ontario Street and Van Wert Street on a regular basis. This creates a dangerous situation as cars are traveling down Ontario Street and other cars are trying to turn off of Van Wert Street. Residents in the area have called the police about this, and the officers usually get the vehicles moved. For some reason, however, the company continues to park their vehicles on this residential street. Is it possible to contact this company and tell them that it is a violation of City Ordinance for them to park here so as to fix this problem on a more permanent basis?
  • 2300 Coliseum Blvd Greensboro Nc - Greensboro
The blinking traffic signal is not working in either direction.
  • 900 Lexington Avenue Greensboro NC - Greensboro
There is a large tree that is overhanging and blocking the sidewalk at this location. It is also blocking the view of incoming traffic for drivers who are stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Haywood Street and Lexington Avenue which created a safety hazard.
  • 906 Gregory St Greensboro, NC 27403, USA - Greensboro
There is a very large pile of tree branches extending from 906 Gregory Street to the corner near the intersection with Haywood Street. This pile has grown steadily over the past couple of days, extending further and further out into the street. At lead one lane of travel is completely blocked. I'm not sure a firetruck could get down the roadway. The sidewalk is completely blocked too. This is posing a huge safety hazard for drivers and pedestrians.

The furniture and other trash that once sat in the yard of 900 McCormick Street has now been moved into the street, in the lane of travel, creating a dangerous situation for drivers. This property continues to be a nasty blight in our neighborhood and invites this type of disrespectful and unlawful behavior. It has been condemned for years, and the City continues to allow it to exist in this illegal condition. This property was even pictured in a recent newspaper article about what's wrong with Glenwood. The City needs to step up and take care of this situation.
  • 900 Mccormick Street Greensboro, NC - Greensboro
This property continues to be a serious blight in our neighborhood. The grass in the yard is over a foot tall, it's become a regular dumping ground for someone's bulk garbage, and the wood covering the windows is falling off. That whole corner just looks like crap. It's wrong for the City to continue to allow this homeowner to keep this abandoned property in this condition for so long. This property is close to the entrance of the Glenwood Neighborhood gives people the impression that the neighborhood is junky.
