    There is a lack of pedestrian crossing signals and sidewalks along the New Bern Ave. corridor, which leads to pedestrians jaywalking at all hours. Given the recent hit and run incident of a pedestrian just several blocks away, the city should do more to prevent this problem.

    There has a been a trailer with the license plate BY-35321 parked on the street in front of 820 E Hargett St. for several days. This is a violation of city code sec. 11-2176, as the trailer is clearly not being used for loading or unloading. Please give the owner a citation and get them to properly store their trailer.
