Yes. You may place bundles of branches at the curbside for collection on your regular trash/recycling pick-up day. Your branches cannot be any longer than 4 feet, and the branches cannot be an thicker than a foot in diameter. As you mentioned in your question, do make sure that your branches are bundled together with rope.
