i am submitting a traffic safety request to be conducted on 73rd ave from Bancroft to International Blvd. There have been countless car accident next to my mothers house this past month i have lost count. Every single on of my family member vehicle has been crashed into, i kid you not. This is an ongoing issue that needs to be addressed. This street is a major corridor for traffic to the airport and freeway that traffic is constant 24/7. Speed and reckless driving is the number one cause for these accidents and it needs to be address and remedy ASAP.. Whether you install more stop signs or traffic lights to control traffic speed it is desperately needed in our neighborhood.

This vehicle has been parked there for over a month, it needs to be removed ASAP! It's bringing an unwanted element to the area and bringing house values down...

There is still an ongoing issue with speeding vehicles driving up and down 73rd ave. Also the biggest problem is with reckless driver who use the bike lane as a third lane ive almost been hit once by theses reckless and careless drivers. Something needs to be done to address these serious issues.

Hello i would like to report a continuing problem on the corner of Orral street and 73rd ave. This street intersection has the honor of being have the a constant stream of car accident every single year and just this past year a pedestrian was killed in a hit and run. Just yesterday a car drove into my mothers fence destroying the fence and damaging a vehicle, the driver sped off and left the scene. luckily it happened early in the morning and no one was hurt. The amount of traffic that bottlenecks with people turning onto 73rd ave from Orral street is an ongoing problem, also with reckless driver speeding up and down this street and performing doughnuts from time to time. There needs to be a stop sign or a traffic signal place in this intersection . You could conduct a traffic survey of the area and even look up the traffic incident over the course of several years and it will show how dangerous this intersection is and how it can benefit by having a traffic signal installed.

There is an homeless woman who comes by at least two to three times a week and sleep on the sidewalk next to my house and always leave garbage when she leaves. we have called the police in the past but its still an ongoing issue with homeless and vagrants in the neighborhood leaving garbage and trash in the streets and sidewalk i have also notice needles too..

There is still the ongoing issue with traffic on 73rd ave. Vehicles exceeding the speed limit on a daily basis even reckless driving from time to time. I have witnessed vehicles using the bike lane as a third lane, very dangerous. There have been two occasion that i was almost stuck by a vehicle while exiting my parked vehicle. We need to have the city reevaluate the traffic condition and possibly deploying traffic control, i.e. more speed limit signage, possibly adding more traffic lights and have the Oakland Police department conduct speed traps and patrol up and down the 73rd ave corridor.

There is a woman a homeless woman who is always loitering on and near the corner of my house. She is always leaving large amounts of garbage but the main issue is that she leave used syringes on the sidewalk and have seen her come and go these past several weeks. But there are children in the area that can @#$% themselves with these dirty needles. Please have the police perform patrols in my area. She is an older black female with a stroller full of garbage.
