For the past few years, on even mildly rainy days, the crosswalk to cross 7th Street along Gore Street floods with several inches of water, as does the stretch of Gore Street between 6th and 7th Streets (on the south side of Gore Street). Can additional draining provisions be implemented here?

I shoveled the sidewalk from 18 South Street toward Medford St, to the corner of Bedford St, to allow free and clear pedestrian passage. Two hours later my housemate reported that the path I had shoveled was completely filled in with snow. It appears a city plow sent piles of snow onto the sidewalk, making pedestrian access almost impossible. Can someone shovel this and ensure it stays clear?

    Hi there,

It is a struggle to cross in any direction on Medford St and South St. The roads are in bad shape; the crosswalks and yellow dividing line are almost invisible; and the blinking yellow light does not seem to have much impact, as cars zoom by in heavy traffic at up to 40 MPH.

A good start would be to repaint those crosswalks and put up the yellow signs in the center that say "Stop for Pedestrians." What else can we do to make it more pedestrian-friendly?

The Bedford St street sign is loose in its post foot and is leaning into the sidewalk, obstructing pedestrian movement.
