When will Raleigh FINALLY embrace reflective paint for their roadways??? Driving North on Falls of Neuse Rd, just past the entrance to the beltline, is where traffic becomes treacherous. Especially when it is raining -- all you can see is the reflection of headlights in the road and not the lane markings (and lanes are already narrower than normal, everyone in Raleigh knows that about Falls of Neuse Rd). Please consider painting lane markings on Falls of Neuse Rd using reflective paint that will glow under headlights and make driving safer for all of us.

I was extremely pleased to see that Maywood Avenue was recently repaved, as I drive on this road every weekday on my route to work. However, if traveling eastbound on Maywood Ave from Lake Wheeler Rd, there are two sets of railroad tracks. The slab between the first set of tracks WAS paved, which makes driving over it seem like nothing. However, the slab between the second set of tracks WAS NOT paved -- which makes the transition between road and track a bit rough, which can wear down shocks/struts. I was wondering if there was a specific reason this slab of road was left out in the renovation project.

Maywood Avenue was recently re-paved, which is amazing. I drive down that road every morning -- and it definitely needed it. However, heading eastbound in Maywood Ave from Lake Wheeler Rd, there are two sets of railroad tracks. It appears that the slab between the first set of railroad tracks WAS paved, but the slab between the second set of railroad tracks WAS NOT paved. This makes for a rough transition in a vehicle which can damage shocks/struts over time. Is there a reason that this area was NOT paved in the Maywood Avenue renovation?

There is no category for lane lines, so I chose "Sign Down". The lane lines on Wake Forest Rd. just north of the belt line are in bad shape. Especially in the dark, and even worse when it's raining. The lines are very difficult to see, maybe they could be repainted so they are more visible and people will stay in their lanes while driving on that road.

I drive to work every morning around 6:40am. I head east on Sierra Dr towards the Lake Wheeler Rd traffic signal. This traffic signal must be on some sort of "Fixed Time Control" at that time of day because I have waited there for more than 2 minutes before. 120 seconds does not seem like alot, but when you're trying to get to work, and there are no cars driving by on Lake Wheeler, it can be frustrating. Would it be possible to change this light from Fixed Time Control to some sort of sensor? That way, the taxpayers in Trailwood Glen and Carolina Pines would not have to wait so long for that light to change.

    Thanks,

    Wayne B.
