    Eight lampposts have rotted and fallen down, leaving the park less secure from twilight to sunrise. These need to be replaced with energy-efficient LED streetlamps that don't rust and are appropriate for a dog park.

    Copious amounts of pet waste are building up along Federal Street, De Pasquale Avenue, America Street, Vinton Street, Broadway, Sutton Street, Kenyon Street, in fact nearly every side street between Broadway and Atwells. Even with police manpower reductions, why is this allowed to pass given the health hazard this poses to visitors and residents alike?

    Rust, rot and storms have downed nearly all of the sidewalk lamps and many of the trees in this park. This makes the park unsafe at night and much less pleasant in the daylight. Please replace all of the sidewalk lamps with rust-proof, energy-efficient models and please have the tree warden begin replacing the trees that have been brought down by storms.

    The road surface of both the entire length of De Pasquale Avenue and Federal Street from De Pasquale to Connector Road 6 is so broken up and crumbling that driving here is becoming problematic for residents AND the restaurant tourists who flock here most nights. With Broadway and Dean Street now repaved, the time has come for these two heavily-trafficked streets to get the same treatment.
