    Richmond Parkway & 80 East Richmond, California - Richmond
    At about 7:30 am (& later) backup of cars & trucks on Richmond Parkway, leading to 80 E., as well left, to the bridge, is so backed up, that I have to leave my house at least 15 minutes earlier then predicted travel time to work, as on Google traffic. Then if there's a train at West Marine, the cars back up to under overpass by 80 freeway, making it impossible to cut over to Cutting to make it to a different fwy entrance. I never know how is best to get onto the freeway. Cut over on Ohio, the to Harbor? Traffic study needed there.
  • Exit 24 35th Ave Freeway Exit Oakland California - Laurel
    I was driving off of freeway 580 E. bound on exit 24 which is the 35 Ave exit. & hit a very deep pothole that wasn't there last week. I commute. My car went into that pothole so hard, that my back wheel banged & my head moved about quickly. I did call CatTrans about 8:30 am, but made a mistake in reporting the exit as 35th St. not Ave. I spoke to someone named Lisa & told her that I hope my car isn't damaged either evidently soon, or when I take it for an oil change & my mechanic looks under the car. I made note of this incident. This exit is usually a very rough road, but the pothole is new & dangerous.

    In Tot Lot playground the garbages are spilled onto the ground or overflowing surrounding the kids play area

    The elevator has been broken for about 3 - 4 weeks. It's used to go to the community room.
    I use it, along with MANY others to attend storytime, given by Miss Miriam.
    Nannies & Mom's etc. use the elevator to transport children & babies in strollers, each week to a much anticipated weekly Storytime event.
    Without the elevator, all the strollers have to be parked in the ground floor library itself, thereby restricting patrons without children to "understand" the problem.
    Miss Miriam just informed us that the elevator that's been broken, is terminal & cannot be repaired.
    She also said that with tax season AARP will be using the room for their tax prep event.
    Please do something for the community & the building by seeing to getting an operational elevator PDQ!!!!

    In "TOT LOT"" playground...lights/music play equipment STILL broken. Dead space. No fun at all for toddlers & as I've stated in previous postings, very difficult to explain to a 21 mos. old..."yes, still broken".
    I did get a response last week that the manufacturer needed to do the repair - so how about it already - it's been a month or more.

    I'd reported the "lights/sound & action" play equipment in the "new" TOT LOT not functioning, last week.
    It is still not working & is dead space.
    It is frustratingly difficult to explain what happened & when it can be used again, to a toddler that has had fun using it before.

    "TOT LOT" is it reopened yet?
    We'd love to be able to bring the kiddoes there.
    I don't live nearby, but it is on my list of parks to make the rounds to.
    Anyone know if the chainlink fence is still up?

    This new toddler playground has been broken & chainlinked fenced off for at least 4 months.
    I've called 2 people including the correct person at park & rec. & have had no response.
    This is the only playground for very young children in the area.
