    Powell elementary renovation lacks construction site pollution prevention measures - huge amounts of loose earth are exposed and dust and dirt are being blown around by the wind. Huge amounts are being kicked up, making it hard to even see through the air at times. This cannot be in compliance with DGS or DOEE construction requirements.

    Sidewalk closed for Pepco repair. If Pepco needs sidewalk, a traffic lane needs to be closed to provide a sidewalk. Pedestrians walk in the car lane anyway when the sidewalk is closed, presenting a hazard. Either way, it is not ok to provide no sidewalk.
