I have just been informed that this van does not run. Therefore it won't be moving any time soon. The inhabitants have been asked to leave for 3 days.
I and my employees and visiting artists need to have safe access to my building. The constant parade of unregistered vehicles stopping for drug buy??? is a threat to all of us. They constantly park blocking either the street or our driveways.
On Monday we have a group from the Art Commission visiting the studio. What a nice image this presents of Oakland Pride.
This is not just an eyesore but it is a safety issue when I visit my business at 2 a.m. This needs to be moved on.

This "motorhome" has been parked here through the street sweeping. 3 locals have requested they move. It is unregistered and they are piling garbage all around. Each time a request is made they say it is someone else who owns it. They have vehicles stopping for short intervals all day long, many like this van, for a quick drug stop? Often these cars are parking in our driveway, blocking our rollup door and our garbage access.
our business requires that we come to monitor kilns during the night but this congregation is a threat to me and to my employees when it is 2 a.m. and there is activity here. Are we supposed to call the police when we want to safely enter and exit our building - because that is exactly what we will begin to do.
