During the winter time, one of the city's snow plows plowed up and completely destroyed a park bench at this corner of the park, the one that was closest to the street.

This just so happened to be the best bench in the park because it was A) close to the street and B) almost always in the shade of the trees in that area.

A lot of people trudge up Rogers St. and that bench was a nice respite for the long hike up the hill. The city might even want to consider adding more benches on the side of the park that faces Rogers St.
