We talked last year about applying for SRTS money for Edgewood Avenue corridor. Should we try for some Complete Streets application and look for federal dollars?

Thanks MableX! Ask and ye shall receive!

i believe i am - but i think you can see the graffiti from a public space (perhaps the koffee courtyard). i'll try and remember next time i'm in audubon.

still an issue

working it out with the homeowner

thanks DPW!

The construction was scheduled to be completed last night, so I am closing the issue for now - please reopen if it's recurring!

The construction was from Comcast cable digging up the street to install cable to lower chapel. Hopefully now SeeClickFix will have solid internet after all of this work. The city would not give the contractor a permit for daytime work due to the bus route, but this is not proper to surprise a neighborhood with evening work. I am going to work on a way for notification to at minimum the Alder of an area with a work permit - who would then notify their neighborhood.

does anyone know whether if it's cycling on and off the city will fix it?

I wonder if this is construction for the New Theater - will find out more I hope.

Thank you LCI! Also there's an issue with improper disposal of a tire on Eld - http://seeclickfix.com/issues/442113

Does this have to do with the sewer project? Any knowledge who the contractor is - please let me know

Good afternoon - I'm seeing a crosswalk in the picture posted. Is it not functioning?

Many thanks -

i hope to have some more additions to this conversation in the coming months. the small group of folks dedicated were in discussinos with google and we were waiting on a hardware device being built currently (that would allow for indoor)

i also think a freemium version could be rolled out as a stand alone business - with sponsorships on splash pages

thank you!!

Odis,

I disagree. I'm an alderman in the city and I check this site very frequently - I don't get to every issue in my ward, however I do check a lot of them, and believe this is a great website for crowdsourcing ideas and solutions from more community members and stakeholders.

From the post and comments, it sounds as though the van in question is following the laws regarding parking requirements. However, that doesn't answer if the signage is safe etc.

thank you for the conversation. there is a bill in the state legislature that could provide a pilot for new haven to install a red light camera program. please contact the governor's office and your delegation via phone and ask them to support it.

HB 05554 An Act Enabling Certain Municipalities To Install Traffic Signal Enforcement
Cameras, and

SB 00634 To allow municipalities to operate automated traffic enforcement safety devices
in accordance with the provisions of Senate Bill number 706, LCO number 4808, from the
2011 January Session.

with regard to the panhandling on the exit ramp, we have been calling the police non-emergency number (203-946-6316) and asking the PD to enforce the legislation on the books. previously, there was an encampment off of the highway (that abutted properties on Bradley Street) and through partnerships with the PD and the Community Services Administration, we were able to clear the encampment and get on individual into a case load at a shelter. we need to simply keep calling, unfortunately, to get response from PD.

You can also call me (203-309-2737) or text me to let me know when someone needs to be removed, and I can call the PD for you.

Best,
