Asphalt and other construction debris from the recent milling and repaving of Whalley Ave. has completely blocked this storm drain. Exact location is on the north side of Whalley near Blake Street, under a giant oak tree.

This lamp along the West River Walkway is out; bulb needs to be replaced. On the edge of the walkway between the path and Irving Gas station. Parks request? Not sure.

The crosswalk where Fountain Street merges into Whalley Avenue in Westville Village continues to be a danger zone, both for pedestrians, cars, and bicycles. Until this intersection can be completely rebuilt to slow traffic down and allow for a safe, signalized crosswalk here, there needs to be both an in-street pedestrian sign installed (as utilized throughout the city) as well as a transformation of the asphalt island at the merge into a planted median and median refuge. This will help slow traffic down by signalling to drivers that they are NOT on a highway, rather in a neighborhood with people walking and small businesses trying to survive. This is an inexpensive mitigation effort that can and should be done immediately. TT&P, please acknowledge.

In-street pedestrian sign needed for Alden Street crosswalks at Willard Street. There is a bus stop here for the Q bus, St. Aedan School & Church is a half block away, post office one block away, and other pedestrian traffic to nearby schools, the library, post office, houses of worship, etc. This intersection has poor visibility as it is and drivers speeding by on Alden do not stop for pedestrians at this crosswalk. Please install a sign here ASAP.

In-street pedestrian sign needed for Fountain Street crosswalk at Barnett Street. There is a bus stop here for the Q bus, Sheridan-Mauro school half a block away, Chapel Haven one block away, and lots of other pedestrian traffic to nearby pres-schools, the library, post office, houses of workship, etc. Drivers speeding by on Fountain do not stop for pedestrians at this crosswalk, ignoring the 'three-arrow' signs on the concrete median. Please upgrade to the bright yellow 'yield to peds' sign.

The storm drain at the northwest corner of Fountain and Harrison, right in front of the fire house, routinely backs up and floods the entire intersection. Pedestrians, many of whom are parents with young kids coming from the three pre-schools or library down the block, as well as Chapel Haven students and seniors coming from the library or post office, then have to go way out into the street to pass through. DPW, please fix this dangerous situation as soon as possible.
