    I was just informed that the new James Museum will be closing down 1st Ave., South, in addition to Central Avenue. That has several consequences. The South Core garage will have to be closed, the residents at Signature Condominiums will not be able to get their cars in and out of their garage, and people at Bayfront Tower and Signature will have to walk several blocks out of their way to get anywhere. There are residents in both buildings that have mobility issues or are older. In addition, the Pride Parade will be downtown this year, with 200,000 people. The closed streets will make an already bad situation much worse. I suggest the City reverse their decision to allow this untenable situation.
