  • 6101-6109 Nicollet Ave S Minneapolis, MN, 55419, USA - Minneapolis
Several cars are consistently parked in bike lane against new signage on east side. Any way to do warning tickets or something? Signage has been up for weeks.
  • Tires Plus 3020 W 66th St, Minneapolis, MN, 55423, USA - Richfield
The sidewalk by Goodyear Tire is absolutely covered in snow. It almost looks like it isn't cleared -- but all the blocks to the east are.
  • 299 Cedar Avenue South Minneapolis, Minnesota - Cedar-Riverside
The "Don't walk" signal for Cedar traffic displays when "walk" signal for 3rd St traffic is activated. Before 2013, when there was a ramp from SE Washington Ave, this made sense. However, right now, there is *no* conflicting vehicular traffic when Cedar has a red light. It seems like the upraised hand should only display when the protected left turn cycle is activated.
  • 1208 3rd Street Minneapolis, Minnesota - Cedar-Riverside
A large string of them is out, and has been for months.
  • 6201-6205 Portland Avenue South Richfield, Minnesota - Richfield
The street light attached to the signal at Portland and EB Crosstown ramps has been out for several months. See attachment for the specific light.
  • 2300 West 62nd Street Minneapolis, Minnesota - Armatage

The street name sign at W 62nd St and Penn Ave was replaced this past year. W 62nd St is now labeled "N Frontage Rd". Although 62nd is the frontage road to Crosstown here, that is not the name of the street, according to any major mapping service, the City's own Open Data portal, or Hennepin County GIS.

For navigational purposes, it is confusing to be told to turn on 62nd St, when no street is labeled as such.

  • Southeast Washington Avenue Minneapolis, Minnesota - Cedar-Riverside

My concern is about the overhead mast arm signage on CSAH 122 / SE Washington Ave. The signs at street level directing drivers into this expressway stub were formerly labeled "SE Washington Avenue", even though this is west of the Mississippi. This was an important clarification, since *S* Washington Avenue is a block away and does not connect to SE Washington Avenue. However, since the construction, the new signs now read *S* Washington Avenue. This means that there are three discontinuous S Washington Aves with a block of one another, literally running parallel for 2-3 blocks.

Please consider changing the signs back to "SE Washington Ave" or "to SE Washington Ave" or similar. The current situation does not match mapping software or reasonable human navigation.

  • Midtown Greenway Minneapolis, Minnesota - Lowry Hill East
The new ramp from Girard Ave to the Midtown Greenway is not plowed at all, and is barely passable. If the city expects that an adjacent property owner is to clear it, they should make that expectation clear to them -- or if not, they should plow it themselves. This is an important ramp in uptown, in the middle of a medium-length gap between The Mall and Bryant.
  • 6120 Bloomington Avenue South Minneapolis, Minnesota - Diamond Lake
Bike lane between the Crosstown bridge and 62nd St is completely faded away. The portion north of the Crosstown bridge was just restriped, but you can't find it all here.
  • 6107-6137 Bloomington Avenue South Minneapolis, Minnesota - Diamond Lake
The northern half of the 6100 block of Bloomington Avenue has a frontage road, where cars park without any problem. But for the southern half, mainline Bloomington -- which has bike lanes -- comes together with the home frontage, and cars park in the bike lane. Please install no parking signs for this section or move the bike lane away from the curb.
  • 7701 Lyndale Avenue South Minneapolis, Minnesota - Richfield
The bridge/interchange over 494-5 on Lyndale Avenue has some planting areas -- in the triangle between the entrance-exit ramps -- that looked lovely a couple of years ago, but have become completely overgrown in weeds. Is the City responsible for these?
  • Potholes Archived
38-88 East 65th Street Richfield, Minnesota - Richfield
Horrible patch of potholes between Nicollet and 1st Ave S on E 65th St.
  • 201-299 East 72nd Street Richfield, Minnesota - Richfield

The driveway apron to the 7200 alley between 2nd and 3rd Ave S is heavily cracked, broken, almost like a big pothole in the concrete. Water pools significantly as a result.

This is on the south side of 72nd St between 2nd and 3rd Ave.

  • 210 Portland Avenue Minneapolis, Minnesota - Downtown East
There are electrical junction boxes in the tree grates, and nearly all on the 200 block are broken open, with the wiring exposed. This is on the west side of the street, by the condos/townhomes.
  • 1200-1298 South 2nd Avenue Minneapolis, Minnesota - Loring Park

2nd Ave has two through lanes southbound in this location, yet the left through lane is controlled by a red arrow. The green arrow does not always show in unison with the green circular indication, so it is possible to have a green "through" light but a red left-turn arrow. This is extremely confusing:

    1. Are vehicles in the left lane permitted to proceed straight through the intersection? (It is not marked as a left-turn only lane)
    2. If so, may they do so when the red arrow is activated?
    3. Left-turning vehicles must stop completely, blocking access to southbound cars proceeding straight through the intersection in the left lane.

This configuration is also in violation of the MnMUTCD. In 4D.17, "A protected only mode left-turn movement that does not begin and terminate at the same time as the adjacent through movement shall not be provided on an approach unless an exclusive left-turn lane exists."

    I would suggest that either:

    1. The lanes be marked so that the left travel lane becomes a Left Lane Must Turn Left (preferred). This is how things are marked on Marquette.
    2. The signals be reconfigured, so that north and southbound are in separate cycles, with the green arrow showing at all times for the southbound cycle.

  • Nicollet Mall Minneapolis, Minnesota - Downtown West
This light is less than a full block from the major intersection at Hennepin and Washington, and is the only light on Washington Avenue that does not have an overhead signal arm. People are not expecting a light this quickly and often simply do not notice it! Twice I've been walking in the crosswalk only to have a car blast through their red on Washington at a full 30 mph. When driving on Washington, I've also seen cars run this light without even slowing down. Either significant added enforcement is needed, or this light needs to be brought up to the standards of the other lights on Washington.
  • 201 3rd Avenue North Minneapolis, Minnesota - North Loop
One of the signal heads at the N 2nd St/N 3rd Ave intersection is turned. This is rather dangerous, since it means that NB/WB 2nd St sees a green light when it actually has a red.
  • 3600 Cedar Avenue Minneapolis, Minnesota - Powderhorn Park
Pothole in the NE corner of this intersection, I believe on Minneapolis pavement, not Cedar/CSAH 152.
  • 101-149 Marquette Avenue South Minneapolis, MN - Downtown West
S 1st St was a 4-lane street until last summer, when it was re-striped to a single travel lane in each direction. However, the sign facing northbound traffic on Marquette Ave says that either lane may make a left turn onto 1st St. Obviously, this does not work when the street has only a single travel lane. Cars in the outer lane will be unexpectedly dumped into the bike or parking lane. The stenciling should also be updated.
  • 5400 Nicollet Avenue Minneapolis, MN - Fuller Tangletown
Prior to the last couple of weeks, this light would only trip when a car was waiting on 54th to turn onto Nicollet, or when a pedestrian hit one of the crossing buttons. As of late, it seems to be tripping at random, when no car is present, creating unnecessary red lights for Nicollet
