  • 75-85 Jefferson Street Hartford, Connecticut - South Green

The entire stretch of Jefferson Street, from Washington Street to the traffic light on Hudson Street needs to be painted for safe travel by cars, pedestrians and bicyclists. The turn lanes, center lines and crosswalks are barely visible, and with cars parked on both sides, this stretch of road is an unsafe nightmare.

Turning from Jefferson on to Hudson, the lanes are gone, and no arrows to show people that there is a left turn only lane. This road is also unsafe in its width and for pedestrians next to a hospital, crossing anywhere on this street is a extremely unsafe.

Please actually paint crosswalks at this high traffic intersection. Heavy vehicle traffic (most don't stop all the way). Pedestrians use this heavily, bus stops, etc. Please paint crosswalks and add some COMPLETE STREET signage.

Route 30 (Ellington Road) and Chapel Road intersection is a busy intersection with a day care facility on one corner. There are push buttons for signal change, but no crosswalks. This makes for a very dangerous situation. This should have crosswalks all four crossings. This is also an official Bicycle Route and would benefit by wider shoulders, and improved crossing signals.
  • 71-129 High Street Hartford, CT - Downtown

This intersection is still lined for either a left or right turn, done this way when this was blocked off, but never repainted once the street section reopened.

Now that you can go straight here, lines should be redone.

Along the entire length of badly damaged and ugly fencing, the sidewalk and curb area next to the fence are full of litter of every sort. • 1645 Ellington Rd South Windsor, CT - South Windsor

  • Washington St Hartford, CT - South Green
This intersection features concrete pavers made to look like cobblestone. A four foot square section of these pavers has become damaged, and every day more of the small bricks are on the road and side of the road, causing people to swerve in cars, bikes to hit the bricks, and pedestrians to be in danger. This intersection is bad enough, but these need to be fixed immediately. Has gone from 1 or 2 to 8 or 10 in 2 days.
