This problem is not easy to solve as they put these signs up in the middle of the night.
If the perpetrators are caught they can be charged with trespassing ,graffiti or defacing public property .

This is on the floral park side.
These boxes control traffic signals.not street lights and are usually place on street light poles.cars need to slow down and obey traffic signals.
you must put a request in to the NYC D.O.T for more street lighting.
