    I would like to complain about the commercial church property at 502 Rhode Island Avenue, NW There are two large dumpsters which were in the basement of the property have been moved to the street level. There are several trash bags that have either fallen or have been removed and are on the ground at this point. I believe this business has trash service. However for the amount trash the business produces they need to increase the service. Can someone please help ?

    I am reporting trash that has been left out all week under the steps at 502 Rhode Island Avenue, NW. The name of the business is Unity Fellowship Church. This is the fifth report I have made on this establishment. I believe they have been fined in past. They always remove the trash after the warning and/or fine. It's gone for a few weeks and then they do it again. It smells horrible and as I was walking to my home, I could see one of the bags looks like hole in it which is evidence of rodents. I believe Inspector Brooks handled the past reports. PLEASE have her or someone do something about this business. This is too much for the residents here to handle.

    This is at least the fourth compliant I have placed on the church at 502 Rhode Island Avenue, NW. This time the church placed exposed trash in plastic bags but not in receptacles in their basement well on 7/7/13 and left it there all week. Now there is additional trash there from 7/14/13. I believe the person familiar with this case is Inspector Brooks who fined them about six weeks ago. They must not have taken the fine seriously as they continue with the same behavior. There are rats on the run as a result making it very scary for the residents. PLEASE somebody do something about them.

    This is the second report for trash improperly stored under the steps of the church located at 502 Rhode Island Avenue, NW. THERE ARE MOUNDS OF OPEN TRASH in the basement well. This property is connected to other homes. The first case status says it is complete but I am not sure how that is possible since the trash still remains and it looks as if it has grown. The business needs to be fined at this point. They are in the establishment almost daily but have yet to remove trash that has been sitting there over a week. PLEASE HELP!

    Reporting improperly stored trash located under church steps at 502 RI Ave, NW. The business needs to get trash containers large enough to contain and conceal their trash. This trash was placed in the basement yesterday and has yet to be disposed of. The result is a lot of rodents going in and out of the trash and making it very scary for nearby homes. Please let them know this is not acceptable and the situation needs to be remedied immediately.

    This is not a missed trash collection. It is a second report on a commercial business located at 502 Rhode Island Avenue, NW leaving trash out to be collected by the city. Inspector Brooks came after the first report. She took pictures and said she would issue a warning. I also wrote a note to the church asking them not to leave their trash out there and that I was going to report them. They stopped putting the trash out for a few weeks but started again this past Thursday The trash collectors (rightly so) and it has been sitting there ever since. I am not sure if they ever received the warning. However, I am requesting the inspector return. Rodents have already been in the bags. Please help.

    I have reported rat problems earlier in this area. I came home around 8:30 to see two of them jumping back and forth between my address and 506 Rhode Island Avenue. Can you please bait my property? I know you can not address anyone else's without their permission but maybe everyone in the block could receive information on who to call if they see rodents.

    I am not sure if this is categorized as illegal dumping however I could not find anything else suitable. The address of the church is 502 Rhode Island Avenue, NW in the 20001 zip code. Please get this establishment to get trash service and not leave their waste for the rodents to come into the neighboring homes.

    There have been multiple rodent sightings in the back and front or all the homes and businesses within the block. The sightings have been in both the front and the rear. The rear is not an alley but a walkway where the houses are very close. The rodents jump from yard to yard making it dangerous for people and pets.
