Litter Can - Collection Archived1129 G Street NE - Capitol HillIt would be helpful if DPW could distribute (or rather re-distribute) supercan collection requirements to our neighbors. As a longtime resident, some of the newer neighbors are unclear on these collection standards and one in particular is very aggressive with those of us who are merely placing our cans in the designated public spaces for pickup. We Iive on a one-way street and must place our cans on the opposite side of the street for pickup. This apparently inflames some neighbors on the "collection side" of the street who have resorted to throwing the emptied can around the neighborhood in a fit of passive aggression. Perhaps some reminding from DPW would help. Thanks all...its a huge, and hugely important job you do!
