    I am reopening this issue with a picture so you can see how the traffic signal lacks visibility. Please address this. Lots of people run through a red light here going very fast. I am only at this intersection a couple of minutes each day and I keep seeing people run through a red light. I would hate to wait until a fatality happens before this is addressed. Below is my previous message from 2/8/23.

    I am re-reporting this issue with the correct location on the map. This bike crossing is very dangerous. Please have signs indicating a bike crossing and a possible light signal to allow bikes to cross safely. This is a bike boulevard crossing a major artery. Thank you!

    I cross the intersection of Shattuck Avenue and Russell Street daily. I come from North Berkeley in the morning and go to work in Elmwood. The bikeways have greatly improved over the years and I feel much safer biking to and from work. My only concern is the above intersection, and it's a major concern. Russell Street is a Bike Boulevard. There are many bikes traveling on it. Crossing Shattuck Avenue is very dangerous. It is hard to see cars coming, especially from the South, and drivers on Shattuck tend to go fast. Please, please install some kind of signal to help bicyclists cross safely. I would hate for someone to get killed at this intersection.

    Many cracks, potholes, and uneven pavement on Milvia Street Bike Blvd between Russell and Blake. Bike needs to swerve to avoid cracks and potholes.

    There are large cracks in the pavement in Russell Street between at least Telegraph Avenue and Milvia. These cracks are wide enough to grab a bike tire and make a cyclist fall. Please fix these. This is a bike roadway.

    Large pothole heading north on Broadway just before Patton turnoff. Also very uneven road surface when turning onto Patton from Broadway.

    There are many large and small potholes and cracks in the pavement heading south on Broadway from College Avenue to 51st Street, especially in the right hand lane.
