There is a problem with certain residents and their guests not adhering to the No Trespass signs seen on several homes around said property. These Non-guests of homeowners/renters in this area are sitting/standing on others steps, blocking entrances to homes making it difficult to get in or out; on a few occasions up to 15 people have been seen loitering at one time. These non-guests are also using the alley as a public bathroom, periodically "smoking drugs", drinking, being loud and throwing their trash/bottles around a property as well as leaving cups, papers, personal items, spilling/dripping liquids and food, leaving a mess on your stairs and sidewalk/road areas. The No Trespass signs program was put in place to deter loitering, now we need participating residents to enforce that program.

Alleyway for abandoned house, had several filled trash cans spilling over with bottles/cans some partially empty, household items such as baskets, buckets, umbrella and bags, along with fast food garbage and flies; alley is also being used as a public bathroom and a spot to stash drugs. The backyard is being used as a bike parking lot, with a table and chairs set up along with other household items not previously there. This issue has been brought to the City's attention twice and the Albany Police Department. The City came and cleaned out the alley and backyard, and cut down the overgrowth. This was just recently resolved and is being formally addressed here.
