I have HAD ENOUGH of The Red Sea - which is a bar located right next door to our building. Every night - their drunk customers stagger out of the bar at 2:30 and stage a social scene directly under our windows (I am on bottom floor) and out in the middle of the street. it carries on until at least 3AM or later - yelling, whistling, playing music and copious smoking directly under my window and others - filling all bottom floors apartments with smoke because our windows are old and do not seal tight. The last 3 times - including tonight - that I have politely asked them to keep it down - i.e. saying my elderly mother is sleeping and it's Xmas eve - they screamed profanities at me and then decided to be louder - shouting profanities - F this and F her and I will do whatever I want. And this is EVERY NIGHT The Red Sea is open - which I think is 6 days a week. Final bit of crabbiness - it will be an irony if I get cancer some 20 years after I quit smoking because I live in Oakland where ZERO smoking ordinances are enforced.
