The sidewalk in front of 20 & 22 N. Boulevard and some spots on the block need repair. The concrete is falling apart, protruding, making holes and is in really bad shape. It's been like this for at least a year. Please tear it up and pour new concrete in. Thanks.

We love the new re-graded alley! However, cars are now speeding through.

This alley is where pedestrian's have to walk to get to the Grayland Tot Lot playground (311 S. Belmont Ave) There are also a handful of family's with young children who's houses back up to the alley.

We would love for a few speed humps and/or "slow" signs to be put up here.

Alley between Sheppard and S. Belmont, and Grayland and Idlewood.

    Thanks!

The alley between S. Belmont and Sheppard St. south of Belmont Ave. needs to be regraded and needs new gravel. Or it needs to be paved with speed bumps. it has been almost five years since the last alley maintenance has been done. This is a playground entrance with a lot of foot and car traffic. With snow in the forest I'm predicting they'll be a few cars that get stuck.

The magnolia tree in our backyard is growing and pushing on the power lines.

Previously, the power or telephone companies have trimmed it. Not sure if they're still doing that. How can we work together to trim the branches or remove the tree?

Grayland Ave. And Belmont Ave. Intersection - Carytown

The stop sign was taken out on Grayland Ave. Two stop signs were installed on Belmont Ave. I'm not sure why this was done. But it's not helpful. There is a playground behind the houses on Grayland. Pedestrian's (children) cross over Belmont to get there. Now they have to be extra cautious because of the oncoming traffic. When the sun is setting it's hard to see cars coming. There have also been at least 2 accidents after Belmont on Grayland since the change. One the driver was exceeding the speed limit. Had the stop sign still been where it was previously, he wouldn't have been going as fast. People are also still stopping where the sign was, confusing other drivers and possibly causing an accident.

Either switch it to how it was or make it a 3-way stop. Playground, speed, confusion.

Also, add handicap ramps on the corners.

    Thanks.

Is it possible to have some "Children at Play" or Speed Limit signs put up in the alley where the Grayland Tot Lot is? Located, 311 S. Belmont Ave. Cars are SPEEDING through even though it is an alley AND a playground is right there. A lot of small children live across from the playground and these cars are scaring the parents. Not to mention all the pedestrians that go to this playground have to walk through the alley to get to it. It is next to the I-195 on ramp.

This hole is turning into a lake filled with MOSQUITO'S. It is next to a PLAYGROUND (Grayland Tot Lot). It SMELLS horrible and is HAZARDOUS to drivers. We have reported and called, NOTHING has been done. This happens every year. Each department says someone else owns it. It is a VDOT Residue Land owned by the Commonwealth of VA. All they have to do is bring a big truck of dirt to fill it in...pretty simple.

Overgrown Bushes on Sidewalk where there are two utility poles next to each other, in between Dogma and Kroger, across the street from the alley. Can not walk through easily. Especially if you are wheelchair bound or are pushing a stroller.

Overgrown bushes are blocking sidewalk for handicap and people with strollers. Must walk halfway in grass. Horrible when wet outside. On same block as the Kroger Grocery Store.

There is some graffiti on the swings and slides of the playground. The word @#$% is on a couple of the swings. I tried to clean it myself, to no avail.

Also, the swings have been chewed up somewhat by dogs and one of the bolts on the baby swings needs to be tightened.

  • 311 S. Belmont Ave. Richmond, Virginia - Carytown

The grass at the playground is about 3 feet high.

Also, it would be nice if someone could clean the "graffiti" off the swings and slide.

The 'no parking in the alley' signs are faded to the point where they are not legible. In the alley by Grayland Tot Lot, between S. Belmont Ave. & S. Sheppard St. People keep parking in the alley impeding traffic.
