    During the heavy rains, Public Works removed the grates covering the storm drains at this intersection and installed saw horses in place of the grates. The grates are still laying next to the drains and the saw horses are either laying alongside the curb or on the sidewalk strip. Please fix the intersection!

    Clearly this has been a problem for some time! Why is it that the trash containers in front of Peet's & Starbucks can't be emptied during the weekend? By early afternoon on Sunday, both containers are overflowing and spilling onto the sidewalks. If PABA is responsible, it should be enforced. If the city is responsible, make it happen!

    There is an overhanging private tree at 2625 Washington that has only about 4-5 feet clearance over the sidewalk. Perhaps a letter from PW to the homeowner will correct the problem.
